E3 2007: Spider-Man Friend Or Foe Trailers And Interview

So there’s yet another Spidey game on the way. As much as I would like to say that I’m looking forward to this one, actually I’m not. After being sorely disappointed with Spider-Man 3: The Movie Game I can’t say that this game is looking all that appealing. On the plus side though, it does seem to carry traits of Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and that could work in this game’s favor.
The biggest problem with Spider-Man, overall, is that he’s been worn out. I just don’t care anymore. How many more times can we do the same Spidey stuff over and over again? When does Blade get another game? Where’s another Punisher title? Will Dr. Strange ever get his own game? And should I even mention Dare Devil? I think with the current state of Spidey’s over-promotion, and under-whelming games, it would be nice to see something a bit different from the franchise altogether. Hopefully playing as the bad guys (and having a two-player option) will redeem the stagnating super-hero genre. Anyway, enjoy the launch trailer from E3 2007 and an interview that GameTrailers conducted just after the release of the following trailer.
