Already it’s being hailed as the male-rendition of Tomb Raider, Uncharted brings action and adventure to new heights on the PS3. This game was almost completely looked over. Nevertheless, we managed to twist our necks and spot out some of the more important clips and trailers of Uncharted, which appeared at this year’s E3 summit.

Platform gaming has nearly been phased out as a genre. We’ve had tons of shooter games thrown our way, but rarely has there been anything like Uncharted, released for the consoles. Of course, there’s the Tomb Raider games, but those have always been more about eye-candy rather than seeking to define the platform genre for the newer generation of gaming. With Uncharted, there’s tons of ledges to edge across, platforms to hop onto and ropes to swing from. But not only will players have to do with a lot of platforming puzzles, but players will also have to deal with tons of action sequences involving hand-to-hand combat and dynamic shoot-outs.
