Final Fantasy XIII isn't even in stores yet but it's apparently not too early to talk about the next game, Final Fantasy XIV. Why was Sony the one to pull the curtain? Because it's a PS3 exclusive.

Final Fantasy XIV is an MMORPG like Final Fantasy XI. FF XI is still live after seven years but it's only for PS2, Xbox 360, and PC so now PS3 owners have one of their own. Sony showed a trailer, and we've got a few screen caps from it to share.

FF XIV will be released sometime in 2010. Glad Sony managed to keep some of their E3 announcements a secret.
