You may not have known, but yesterday there was a bit of some hoopla over Tekken 6, mainly because a classic mode is now returning and boy does it look good. In addition to the Force Mode making a return, a new E3 trailer was also made available for the public to view.

The new Campaign Force Mode allows for one or two players to cooperatively tackle an evolving story set within the Tekken, and at the same time experience all new features in the series. For the first time in Tekken history players will be able to use a variety of new items in a variety of modes, including new weapons, accessories and even robot mechs. Yes, robot mechs.

While I may not have said the most pleasing things about this game in the past, I must commend Namco Bandai for the new Force Mode (which comes complete with a world map, multiple opponents to fight in a free environment and interactive stages) that they announced. Tekken 6 is due out this fall for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP.
