Who would have thought that Lost Planet could manage to look like Final Fantasy VII and Gears of War? Well, by some divine force over at the Capcom studios, they seem to have generated a trailer that looks like a Gears of War raid party in the Midgard town of Final Fantasy VII.

I’ll go ahead and speak on behalf of this game and say that Lost Planet 2’s gameplay videos are actually better than this brief E3 teaser. In fact, you can check out the other Lost Planet video right here. They definitely do a good job of showcasing the game’s vast atmospheres, character diversity and gun-play.

You can check out the E3 teaser below, provided in part by Game Trailers.. You’ll probably be shouting “this looks like Final Fantasy and Gears of War” all the way through, but that’s a good thing.
