E3 2009: No More Heroes 2 Perversely Entertaining Debut Trailer

published: 2009-06-02 09:58:22
It was bound to happen; it was too big to pass up; it had to get a sequel. Actually, that entire first sentence is far from the truth. Based on the poor sales of the original No More Heroes for the Nintendo Wii, everyone (including myself) was shocked to find out that a sequel was on the way. What’s more is that Suda51’s No More Heroes 2 just debuted yesterday at Ubisoft’s booth during E3, and we have the new trailer up for your viewing pleasure.

Suda51 is pretty much the Quentin Tarantino of video games…though; I might presume he’s a bit more perverse in association with sex and violence. It doesn’t take much effort to recognize the high-styling, uber-violent, gore-ridden trends of Suda, or the fact that this truly is the sequel to one of the most over-the-top, mature-rated games ever to be produced.

The debut trailer is anything but for kids, so if you’re under 17, hit the ‘Back’ button. For everyone else, you can enjoy the foul-language, scantily clad women and continuous masturbation jokes riddled throughout the following trailer. The game is due out exclusively for the Wii in 2010 and it’s being published by Ubisoft in North America, as reported yesterday by Blend Games' own Pete Haas. You can also check out some new gameplay information over at Electronic Theatre.
