E3 2010: Call Of Duty: Black Ops DLC Is Xbox 360 Timed Exclusive

At last year's E3, Microsoft revealed that the first two map packs for Modern Warfare 2 would debut first on Xbox Live. Today at their press conference, Microsoft made a similar announcement with regards to Call of Duty: Black Ops.

"Starting with the release of Black Ops on November 9th, all Call of Duty add ons and map packs will launch first on Xbox 360," said Microsoft's Don Mattrick.

The agreement isn't limited to Black Ops, however. Activision and Microsoft have entered into a multiyear agreement so that COD DLC will be a timed exclusive for the 360 in 2011 and 2012 as well.
