The rumored partnership between ESPN and Microsoft is real, after all. ESPN will be coming exclusively to Xbox Live soon.

The Xbox 360 ESPN service will function like ESPN360, the PC service. You'll be able to watch live events - college football, NBA, MLB, whatever - through your console. All you need is an internet connection and an Xbox Live Gold subscription. No additional fees are required beyond the Gold membership.

No release date was specified for this service. Most of the stuff being shown at Microsoft's press conference is targeted for fall release, though.
