Konami’s upcoming Silent Hill: Downpour looks rather fantastic. In fact, right from the start gamers may notice how similar it is to Alan Wake and a little bit of John Carpenter’s original Assault on Precinct 13.

Unlike the other games where players assume the role of a heroic figure trying to solve a mystery, this game puts players in the role of convict Murphy Pendleton as he ventures through new territories of Silent Hill.

What’s more is that Konami announced that this will be the first Silent Hill game to support stereoscopic 3D, which could make for some interesting moments of horror. But enough rambling, you came to see the E3 trailer and the E3 trailer you shall see.
