E3 2012: South Park: The Stick Of Truth Trailer Makes Fun Of Jewish People
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker were on hand at Microsoft's E3 presser to show off the first trailer for South Park: The Stick Of Truth. As you might expect, the trailer manages to poke fun at Kyle's religion.
Stick of Truth shows the town of South Park under siege by evil forces. It falls to Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny to save the day. They can't do it alone, though, they need the new kid who just moved to town: you.
The trailer glosses over how the player-made character will interact with the rest of the team. Does he or she have voiced lines? Might be a bit weird to have this mute hanging out with such an extremely chatty group of characters. Even if this character is voiced, I'm wondering how they'll fit in and if they'll just feel like a fifth wheel in the game's comedy. Stone and Parker are said to be writing the game's script, so maybe these concerns are unfounded.
Stick will debut on March 5th on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game's DLC will debut on the 360 first.
