EA Has A FaceBreaker

If there were one thing the boxing genre is missing, it would be hilarity. So EA has stepped up to bring us something different from the awe inspiring realistic graphics of Fight Night with FaceBreaker. A game that is literally about breaking faces, but down in a cartoonish style. Which leads you to wonder how many Pixar movie marathons the dev teams at EA have been indulging in lately.

1Up has the exclusive first look at the title that features ”real-time facial deformation” and snazzy characters like Latin lover, Romeo. The move from real boxers to Team Fortress 2 style cartoon characters is part of EA’s plan to inject more fun into it’s library. And while this may be reminiscent of the arcade style boxers of past generations, it is nice to see some new IP’s coming out of the house of perennial sequels.

For a more detailed look at FaceBreaker you’ll have to wait until the new issue of EGM hits stores in a few weeks.
