EA Sports Complex Launches For Home With Screenshots
PlayStation Home may have been on the receiving end of a lot controversy regarding its importance and interactivity, yet that hasn’t stopped it from being an ever-growing social medium for the PlayStation 3 community. To capitalize on this medium, Electronic Arts has implemented the EA Sports Complex into the world of PlayStation Home, which features all kinds of nifty media content and mini-game functionality.
“We are extremely proud of the compelling and immersive online offerings that are available at launch for EA SPORTS Complex,” said Rob Burnett, senior producer. “EA SPORTS Complex is a dynamic space and was specifically designed to appeal to not only the hardcore sports fan but casual gamers alike.”
The complex will house all kinds of video trailers and media content for users to peruse. In addition to shamelessly self-promoting EA Sports products at the EA Sports Complex, there will be a variety of mini-game features for gamers to partake in. One of these mini-games includes a tournament style Texas Hold E’m Poker, as well as a variety of multiplayer mini-games that include F1 racing, golf and more.
EA Sports Complex will be made available in a variety of languages and in other regions soon enough. For now it’s currently available in Europe and North America.
