Much like the six visionary tales of Batman: Gotham Knight by acclaimed animation directors, EA is doing the same thing with Dante's Inferno, featuring six animated films to be the released with the game in 2010. The animated films are a gory, mature look at the Visceral Games remake of the classic poem by Dante Alighieri.

According to the press release…

Witness a different take on Dante’s descent into the underworld! From the creative teams behind some of the boldest animated films of all time, including Ghost in the Shell, Samurai Champloo, Blood the Last Vampire and others, experience Dante’s Inferno in an all-new form.

The films look stunning and are designed to shock, grip and move you…maybe even shake and stir you, too. Although, I must warn you about the red band trailer below because it’s not for people who don’t like to be shaken or stirred. You can check out the trailer for the films below and look for them to launch along with the game in February 2010.
