2k Games Talks Cinematic Authenticity In Mafia II

published: 2010-03-17 16:11:58
Two new video interviews have surfaced featuring key members of the 2K Games design team for Mafia II, as they talk about what makes the game an authentic feeling experience as well as a cinematic one.

GameTrailers landed a few interviews at GDC with the minds behind Mafia II, as they talk about the casting for the voice actors, the dialect the characters use as well as some of the choices key characters (and players) will make throughout their experience with Mafia II. Hands-down, this is the kind of game that EA’s Godfather II should have been.

The visuals are pretty hardcore, too, making the immersion factors that much higher for the game. I also like how they focused more on tactical back-and-forth shootouts rather than try to force gamers to run-and-gun through 100 guys per shootout.

You can check out the two new videos below via GameTrailers, or visit the Official Website for more information on Mafia II.
