Today the turn-based strategy, real-time tactics game Empire: Total War received new downloadable content. The Elite Units of America content pack can be downloaded through Steam for $3.25.

The DLC includes fifteen new elite units for the American, British and French factions. Each unit pertains to the American Revolution in some way. They can be unlocked in the campaign (list of units and unlock requirements are here) and also used in single-player or multiplayer battle modes.

This is the fourth piece of additional content released for Empire. Creative Assembly previously released two other unit packs and a new campaign.
