Epic Games Announces Project Sword For iOS, Epic Citadel Now Available

At an Apple event today, Epic Games unveiled a new game for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Project Sword will be released later this year.

Project Sword is an action RPG that will be exclusively available on iOS. It's being developed by Shadow Complex makers Chair Entertainment. It'll be powered by Epic's proprietary Unreal Engine 3.

To show what UE3 can do on iOS, Epic created a free app called Epic Citadel. It allows the player to walk through a medieval keep. Epic states ti took them only eight weeks to build. You can download it now through the App Store. Screenshots are below.
