F.E.A.R. 2 has received multiplayer map packs in the past and now the single-player end of the game is getting some attention. Today Monolith unveiled a new expansion entitled F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn that adds four new levels of solo action.

Monolith Studios Associate Producer Lucas Myers told IGN that Reborn introduces a new playable character, a replica soldier named Foxtrot 813. The mini-campaign will take approximately two hours to complete and features "gameplay elements that would challenge the player into approaching the missions from a non-standard perspective." You'll earn new Achievements/Trophies for your efforts as well.

The trailer below indicates that a demo will be available on August 27th, while the DLC itself will be released on September 3rd. The PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 are all getting it. No word on the price tag yet.
