Are you a Final Fantasy fanboy? Do you have some uncontrollable desire to play the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV title? Well, Square Enix has just the thing for you!
The Japanese magazine, Shonen Jump, has revealed in their newest issue that beta codes for the developer’s upcoming MMO, FFXIV, will be put into the cases of the Japanese release of Final Fantasy XIII. You can see scanned screens of the article in the magazine over at SCRAWL.
It is not known if these beta codes will be a luck-of-the-draw type of thing, or in every Japanese released copy. You can assume however that this beta will be a PC based affair. Final Fantasy director Hiromichi Tanaka has already said that the beta will be Windows only.
Final Fantasy XIII releases in Japan next month with FFXIV set to debut in the Spring of 2010 on the PS3 and PC.
