Lionhead Studios honcho Peter Molyneux continues to talk up his company's forthcoming RPG Fable II. The newest boast? The game will have downloadable content. Besides the online co-op patch, he means.
In an interview with Videogamer, he stated that, "Without any official announcements, I would say that we'd be pretty dumb not to plan it." Which either means he's calling his company dumb or they are planning the DLC. The latter seems more likely.
He added that the DLC wouldn't just be new items. "It needs to be something a bit more tangible and it would be nice if you didn't have to wait months and months for it as well." Yes, that would be nice.
The best bet would be additional quests, optional or maybe tacked onto the end of the game like with Fable: The Lost Chapters. Sounds good in theory, which is all we've got at this point. Fable II will arrive in stores on October 21st exclusively for Xbox 360.
