Bethesda Softworks has confirmed rumors that they will release a Collector's Edition for Fallout 3 this fall. The Collector's Edition will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC at all retailers and will run you an extra twenty bucks above the normal retail price of the game.
So what are you getting for your money? It'll have a couple of the standard goodies - a hardcover book of concept art, a behind-the-scenes DVD - plus a Vault Boy bobble head doll. The whole package comes in a metal Vault-Tec lunchbox. You'll be the most post-apocalyptic kid at school!
Personally, I just want the bobble head doll and I'm hoping they sell it separately after Fallout 3 hits stores. Like Portal, the Fallout series has a very distinct style and I think they're sitting on some pretty good merchandising potential. Vault 13 t-shirts, anyone?
