Collector’s Editions are by their very nature often for only the most slobbering of fans. I mean, I liked BioShock well enough but I felt no desire for a little Big Daddy figurine. Same goes for GTA IV and its bag o’ goodies. But there is one upcoming Collector’s Edition that I’ve been reading and hearing about that has piqued my interest. The Fallout 3 set, which we’ve finally gotten a clear look at to the right, is nothing short of glorious geek perfection.
The Vault Boy bobble head and lunch pail are significantly cool enough to be placed on my desk next to the Star Wars lunch pail and Jack Skellington bobble head. The art book and behind the scenes DVD are your standard fare Collector’s Edition fodder. I’m sure they’ll be nice to look at, watch once, and then lose in the closet or under the bed.  |
