Fallout 3 PS3: First DLC In September Fallout 3's downloadable content will not arrive on the PS3 this summer after all. On the bright side, they'll be releasing the DLC in a smarter fashion.

Instead of releasing Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, and then Broken Steel for the PS3 (as they did with the 360 and PC), Bethesda will be releasing Steel first. This is good for two reasons: 1) Steel is likely the most popular batch of DLC because it extends the main storyline, and 2) it raises the level cap from 20 to 30 so you'll be able to rack up experience points for your exploits in Pitt and Anchorage.

Unfortunately, PS3 owners still have a couple months until they can experience any of the DLC. Production director Ashley Cheng said onPlayStation Blog that Steel won't arrive until the end of September. "Keep in mind that not only do we need to test each DLC on PS3, we also need to test each DLC when used in conjunction with each of the other DLC, as well as all of them together, along with the entire original game," said Cheng.
