Fallout: Lanius Reaches Fundraising Goal, Teaser Video Released
Fallout: Lanius, a fan-made film based on the post-apocalyptic RPG series, has hit its fundraising goal of $10,000. The creators of the film are hoping to raise even more, though, and have released a teaser video to show you what's in store.
Lanius tells the story of Legate Lanius, military leader of Caesar's Legion. The Legion is a militaristic, pro-slavery society that controls vast amounts of territory in post-apocalyptic North America. They play a major role in the plot of Fallout: New Vegas.
In the film, we see Lanius' origin. He was originally a warrior in a tribe known as the Hidebarks. When the Legion is on the verge of wiping out the Hidebarks, Lanius makes a fateful decision that will change both societies forever.
The Indiegogo fundraising drive for Lanius will run for 8 more days. The stretch goals include more post-production time for sound design and color grade, among other things. To find out the various perks for donating money for the project, travel through the link.
The teaser video shows Lanius with his signature armor and sword. It should look very familiar to anyone who's played through New Vegas.
