With winter at our doorstep, it's appropriate that Interplay's newest piece of concept art for "Project V13" is arctic-themed. It's called the "Frozen Shipyard."

Like everything in Fallout's post-apocalyptic world, the shipyard's fallen on hard times. The remaining ships are buried in ice and snow and some are frozen in an upright position. It doesn't look very inviting but it's the sort of place a wasteland dweller like yourself could scrounge for some useful gear.

"The purpose of images is to 'explore' ideas, settings, color, mood, environments and to see how far we can push them visually," stated 'Serg,' the Interplay artist who's been releasing these images to fans. "Some may be way out of the realm of possibilities, others have elements that will be used and/or expanded on."

Though no one wants to be reminded of cold weather this time of year, the picture's a nice change of pace from the dark, ruined cities shown in previous concept art.
