Fan Support Will Decide Future Gears Of War DLC

Epic Games released the Snowblind Map Pack yesterday for Gears of War 2 and there's a rumor going around that they'll release another map pack entitled "Dark Corners" in April. GoW2 executive producer Rod Fergusson, however, says they're actually in wait-and-see mode right now.

“The big focus is on Snowblind, which is out Tuesday, and we’ll see how that’s received, along with the title update,” Fergusson told VG247. “I’ve been checking in on the forums late at night to see how people are responding at it seems to be pretty positive.”

Fergusson's statement doesn't necessarily mean that this rumored "Dark Corners" map pack isn't real. It does suggest that Epic won't be releasing it as quickly as expected, though. It'd be a little odd to only wait a month to release another map pack. Gamers don't get sick of four new maps that quickly, do they?
