Far Cry, the predecessor to both Crysis and Far Cry 2, can now be purchased through digital game shop Good Old Games. You can pick up a DRM-free copy of the game for only $10.

This is the fourth Ubisoft title to arrive on GOG. Beyond Good & Evil, IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946, and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time were released on the service last week. Heroes of Might and Magic, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six are due in the coming weeks.

The Far Cry you buy through GOG has already been patched to the latest official version (1.4). It comes with a digital manuals for the game and level editor, as well as high-resolution wallpapers.
