Square Enix is bringing another one of the old PSOne Final Fantasy games to PlayStation Network. Soon North American gamers will be able to download Final Fantasy IX to their PSP.

Back in April, Square announced FFIX would be released through the Japanese PSN. It's not a shock, then, to see it coming westward. Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII were both re-released globally on PSN in the past year.

Square Enix VP Marketing Ami Blaire said in a post on PlayStation.Blog that the digital release date for FFIX will be announced soon.
