Square Enix promised a big announcement today and yep, it's pretty big. They revealed when Final Fantasy XIII will arrive in Europe and North America.

FFXIII will hit both territories simultaneously on March 9th, 2010. It's the same date for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, if you're curious. The game is a PS3 exclusive in Japan and arrives on December 17th.

Square also mentioned that "A Moment Like This" singer Leona Lewis will sing FFXIII's theme song. It's called "My Hands" and will appear on her latest album Echo.
