First Gameplay Footage Of Takedown Released

A brief teaser for the upcoming tactical, squad-based shooter Takedown has made its way online. The alpha footage consists of a pre-briefing for a mission and a quick fly-through of the actual Biolab stage that gamers will be taking down.

Now before you huff, puff and throw your arms up in a fit, the game Takedown from Serellan is a throwback to the old S.W.A.T. games, where you had to use skill, tactics and careful planning to win the mission. This is also how the old Rainbow Six games were also played, so technically you could say this is an homage to the true tactical shooter games from back in the day. Check it out below.



I know it's asking for a lot but having a pre-plan stage where you can direct your team's route would be pretty cool.

The team is still updating progress on the game after successfully meeting their Kickstarter goal. If the game is remotely similar to S.W.A.T. 4 or the earlier Rainbow Six games before they landed on home consoles, then we could be in for a real treat and not some fake tactical shooter stuff like Call of Duty-imitators who claim to be tactical but you still move on methamphetamine speeds with ridiculous arcade-style reloading and shooting mechanics.
