Mass Effect: Redemption, the comic that bridges the storylines of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, won't be out until next year. However, you can check out the first six pages starting today.

You can find the sampler over at ComicBookResources. Commander Shepard disappears in the lawless Terminus Systems. The comic opens with Liara T'Soni traveling to space station Omega in an attempt to track him down. One character off-handedly mentions in these pages that the Normandy, your trusty ship from the first game, has been destroyed.

The first of four issues of Redemption will hit stores on January 6th. Mass Effect 2, meanwhile is expected to arrive on the PC and 360 in early 2010.
