Kudos Games have announced today that they have released a new strategy game. In fact, it’s their first and only game, which is called Wu Hing: The Five Elements. They also have a puzzle strategy title in the making, The Treasures of Ra, which is due out in January of 2007.
If these games seem foreign to you, don’t worry about it; I’m no relative to these games either. The motto for Kudos Games is “Exercise your mind”...so of course, Wu Hing is not a martial arts fighting game. The nascence of Kudos Games’ Wu Hing: The Five Elements isn’t something so rare or unique that we haven’t seen it before. In fact, it’s more like a ancient Chinese puzzle game. This virtual interactive board game pits players against one another or a CPU opponent (categorized as Yin and Yang) and players compete using five elements: earth, wind, fire, water, and metal. Move these elements around to create, destroy, and transform the board pieces to ultimately win the game. Wu Hing requires a lot of strategy to play competently, and casual gamers might take interest given its originality. If you want more information you can visit Kudos Games Main Website. Wu Hing: The Five Elements is currently available and has the following minimum system requirements: 1 GHz or faster processor, 256 MB Ram, DirectX 7 or better, Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP. 3D graphics card recommended. |
