Q-Games president Dylan Cuthbert gave us a look at the future of Pixel Junk at the end of his Postmortem on the PSN series. He revealed Pixel Junk Eden, which they expect to have out before summer to an audience at GDC yesterday. And from the video below it looks like the game another slam-dunk by the team at Q-Games. It’s amazing that with a team comprised of only a handful of people they churn out quality work so fast.

Pixel Junk Eden is an acid trip in the form of a small ball collecting pollen to collect flowers. How can people try to pigeonhole games into the same category of entertainment and story telling as film when a developer can produce something so esoteric as this? No matter what happens after the title screen, it will always be gameplay that drives the medium forward. And Q-Games is doing an outstanding job in that department.

Check out the premiere video of Eden below and enjoy the physics based platforming style of another great PSN title.
