Microsoft paid Rockstar Games $50 million for two exclusive downloadable episodes of Grand Theft Auto IV and it looks like that decision might pay off. The Lost and Damned, the first DLC episode, has sold over one million copies so far.
The figure was revealed by analyst Michael Pachter in a talk with GI.biz. Pachter adds that LAD sales should hit 2 million by the end of the year. Based on the fact that the company's fiscal year ends in October, he goes on to predict that the next DLC episode will arrive by November.
Rockstar has yet to make any announcement about LAD sales figures. However, Microsoft revealed last week that the DLC had "eclipsed first-day revenue for all previous downloadable content on Xbox LIVE."
