It has been reported that Unreal Tournament III will be using GameSpy technology to power its multiplayer mode for both the PC and PS3 versions of the game. This shouldn't come as big news to anyone, considering GameSpy joined Epic's Integrated Partners Program way back in August.

Unreal Tournament III will support in and out of game messaging between players, rankings and leader boards, VoIP and stats. While confirmed GameSpy support brings more weight to cross-platform support rumors, those have still yet to be officially announced.

Unreal Tournament III comes out for PC on November 19th. The PS3 version is yet to receive a confirmed release date. Hope of it coming out by the end of December dwindles each day that passes.
