In case you weren’t aware, GameStop is hosting the world’s largest Modern Warfare 2 tournament today with the opportunity for the winner to walk away with a $5,000 grand prize.
According to the press release…
more than 2,900 U.S. GameStop locations will kick off the player vs. player tournament in-stores on the Xbox 360. Round 2 will be held via Xbox Live, powered by gamebattles.com/gamestop. Players will be competing for a trip to the finals event for bragging rights and a $5,000 grand prize.
But wait, there’s more! The international tournament will see teams competing either via PSN or Xbox Live and the top four teams will advance to the finals to fight hard and earn their right to walk away with the international tournament grand prize of $10,000.
