It was recently announced that the two gaming industry giants, GameTap and Ubisoft, would be partnering up again for digital distribution purposes. GameTap recently announced that they renewed their partnership with Ubisoft and have some very snazzy games slated in the pipeline. This, of course, comes on the heels of the news regarding Ubisoft's unfortunate delays for many big name titles.
Nevertheless, Andy Swanson, senior director of strategic sales and partnerships at Ubisoft commented in the press release, saying…
“We are excited to add more of Ubisoft’s top notch games into GameTap’s network, for both full game downloads and improved subscription based offerings,” … “We look forward to offering consumers yet another opportunity to play our award-winning franchises and receive our games digitally.”
There will be 50 new games available on GameTap, including a list of some top name titles that gamers will definitely want to get their digital hands on. Such titles include:
• Assassin’s Creed
• Far Cry 2
• Heroes of Might and Magic V
• Brothers in Arms: Road To Hill 30, Earned In Blood, Hell’s Highway
• Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas,
• Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2
• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
Of course, that doesn’t compose of all the available games by Ubisoft on GameTap but the above list is just a sampler of what will be available. You can learn more about the deal and all the titles that can be digitally downloaded by visiting the Official GameTap Website.
