Rockin’ Android and GamersGate have recently collaborated together to release a string of new and old indie favorites from the anime-gaming Motherland, Japan. The games will start being available to the public via GamersGate at the end of June.
“We have always placed a high importance on offering high-quality indie titles,” said Theodore Bergquist, CEO of GamersGate. “Rockin’ Android has made a name for itself by finding some fantastic indie titles and bringing them to market. We’re very pleased to help deliver these titles to the GamersGate community.” The line-up will kick off with the popular Japanese indie-title, SUGURI. This anime-inspired shooting/fighting game will make its way to North American gamers as the first wave of Rockin’ Androids’ GamersGate line-up. Given that it appears to feature schoolgirls fighting with space-age technology, I’m not entirely surprised to find that this game was popular in Japan…they seem to really love schoolgirls. “We have always placed a high importance on offering high-quality indie titles,” said Theodore Bergquist, CEO of GamersGate. “Rockin’ Android has made a name for itself by finding some fantastic indie titles and bringing them to market.
