A new batch of Alpha Protocol screenshots released for GamesCom suggest that rookie CIA agent Michael Thorton appreciates the finer things in life: yachts, tuxedos, submachine guns and aggressive torture techniques.

One of the screenshots is from the character customization menu. Over the course of the game, it seems you'll gain a series of Perks that enhance your abilities in some way. The player character pictured here has acquired a Perk called "Rome-ance" that adds a +5 bonus to his Endurance. Acquiring that one must've been fun.

Alpha Protocol is scheduled for an October 6th release date. Hopefully it doesn't get nudged into 2010 like so many other late 2009 releases.
