To coincide with the release of the theatrical trailer of James Cameron's Avatar, Ubisoft has unveiled the trailer for the game adaptation. Like all good trailers, it's entirely made up of in-game footage.

The video introduces a lush tropical world filled with diverse animal life. Before it gets a little too soothing, a military force from Earth shows up and starts destroying everything. Ah, humanity, is there anything you can't fuck up?

The game is due out in December for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP, and PC. The film hits theaters on December 18th.
