In addition to the other announcements made by EA today at GamesCom 2009, there was an announcement about some new screenshots for Dragon Age: Origins amidst all the hoopla over the new PS3 Slim and the mythical price-cut that is finally going to come to past.

Let’s not get too far off the subject at hand, though. Dragon Age: Origins is a good looking game. Possibly, one could say that this is the medieval epic equivalent to the Xbox 360 exclusive, Mass Effect. In that regards, you could also say that this is BioWare’s way of putting Mass Effect on the PS3 (alongside the PC and Xbox 360), just that it’s set in a medieval theme with swords and dragons instead of laser weapons and psychics.
