With only a week to go until the Dark Corners expansion to Gears of War 2 goes live, Epic Games has released nine new screenshots of the new single-player and multiplayer content.

Dark Corners adds seven multiplayer maps to GoW2 and there's one screenshot of each below. The other two shots are from "Road to Ruin", a "lost" chapter of the single-player campaign in which Marcus and Dom return to the Locust Hollow. An interesting aspect of "Road to Ruin" is that you have the option of playing stealthy instead of just running in and killing everything.

Dark Corners will hit Xbox Live on July 28th and cost 1200 Microsoft Points. If you haven't picked any of the other map packs released for GoW2, you can grab the All Fronts Collection, a compilation including Dark Corners and all other previous DLC, for 1600 MS points.
