As promised, Epic Games released a new winter-themed map pack for Gears of War 2 today. The Snowblind Map Pack is now available through Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft Points.

Snowblind contains four maps, three of which are new. The new maps have the straightforward names of Under Hill, Grind Yard, and Courtyard. The fourth map is a snowy remake of Fuel Depot from Gears of War 1.

Last week, Epic uploaded the third title update for the game. Another map pack called "Dark Corners" is rumored to be in development.
