Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Box Art Goes To War With Russia?

With months and months to go until Ghost Recon: Future Soldier's release, Ubisoft obviously hasn't determined the final box art yet. They have revealed an awesome work-in-progress version, though, and it hints at the game's plot.

Like previous games in the series, Future Soldier lets you play with a bunch of futuristic weapons and equipment. The soldier on the cover's got some spiffy battle armor and a mean-looking assault rifle. In the background you can see a building that looks a bit like St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, so it looks like the game is at least partially set in Russia.

Future Soldier is due this autumn on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii. An Xbox 360 multiplayer beta begins in the summer.
