Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Trailer Highlights Cover Mechanics, Animations

A new trailer was released by Ubisoft covering the game's cover mechanics, sliding and extensive animation system. One of the real highlights of the trailer is that the in-game animations actually look about as good as typical CG-quality cutscenes.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been a highly awaited project by gamers, given that the last Ghost Recon game was released back in 2006 called Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. The newest game introduces some snazzy new features including partially destructible environments, enhanced weapon physics and mechanics, as well as the very sexy animation system that you will get to see in action with the trailer below.

Very nice, eh? It definitely makes you want to see more. My only complaint would be that we see clips and snippets and no actual static gameplay of an actual segment to see exactly how sliding and dodging and rolling and active cover-mechanics will work during a firefight. Nevertheless, Ubisoft is just getting started with promoting the game given its May release date, so there's plenty of time to see more of the game in action.

Console gamers can look for the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta to commence this April. For further info on the game be sure to pay a visit to the Official Website.
