An action espionage game is already a rare occurrence in the world of interactive video games. You can almost name the franchises on a single hand. But now the action espionage genre is getting notched up a level, to a cross-genre standard in the format of an MMO. Now as I mentioned in previous articles, the real key to next-generation gaming is in cross-genre gameplay. There’s too much horse power in today’s machines to not exploit the kind of gameplay that gamers deserve, given the rising costs (and monthly MMO charges).
Thankfully, Hi-Rez studio’s Global Agenda is a game that I can’t look forward to enough. The short trailer you’re about to see will explain what I’m talking about, a little. But to sum up what you won’t be seeing in the trailer, is that Global Agenda will have gamers competing against each other as part of the main story arc. Sweet, eh? It’s one of the few games that actually steps outside the boundaries of a typical MMO scheme.
