Remember how Sony said that the Blu-ray re-release of God of War and God of War 2 wouldn't include a demo for God of War 3? Well, they were mistaken.

The God of War Collection will come with a voucher for downloading a God of War 3 demo. It's the same demo that they let gamers try out at E3, Comic-Con and PAX this summer. It's also the same demo that Sony had described as "not ready to go into everybody's home" earlier this month. Guess they either polished it or realized they'd be passing up a great cross-promotion if they didn't include the demo with Collection.

You'll be able to download the demo on the same day you purchase God of War Collection, which is currently pegged as a November release. God of War 3 will arrive in March 2010.
