God Of War III Box Art Looks Like Makeup Commercial

Retailers like Amazon now display box art for God of War III. It's not the final box art, though, and hopefully they'll change it.

It's just a big picture of Kratos' eye. Granted, he's got nice full eyelashes and an interesting iris color but seriously? GoW's a huge franchise and plenty of gamers know that that this eye is attached to a bad-ass Spartan-turned-God who eats minotaurs for breakfast but a newer gamer won't have a clue.

God of War III comes out in March 2010. Hopefully it hits stores in a box it deserves. Might I suggest a picture of him wearing those lionhead gauntlets?
