The Blu-ray of the sci-fi film District 9 is going to be packaged with something extra. Sony announced today that it will be bundled with the E3 demo for God of War III.
"This hybrid disc is an industry and PlayStation first which will pair together this summer’s must see Sci-Fi BLOCKBUSTER with SCEA’s powerhouse action title," read an announcement on PlayStation.Blog. "As an added bonus for God of War fans, those that complete the demo will unlock an exclusive making of featurette about God of War III."
This little manuever underlines one of the many advantages of having a film company and a gaming company under the same roof. The District 9 Blu-ray hits stores on December 29th. The GoW III demo will also be included with the God of War Collection, which arrives on November 17th.
