Postal, before becoming a terrible Uwe Boll movie, was once an isometric 2D shooter banned in ten countries. As of this morning, the game can be purchased digitally through Good Old Games for $5.99.
Your objective in Postal is to simply go on a rampage. You have to kill a certain amount of people before you can proceed to the next level so you'll be massacring marching bands, Red Cross workers, and more. It's a little too "controversial for the sake of being controversial" for me but maybe it'll appeal to some of you. Purchasing the game through GOG will get you the Classic and Uncut edition, which includes four new levels and co-op (among other features). The 3D sequel Postal 2 will be released "in the coming weeks" for $9.99. |
