E3's over and now that you've gorged yourself on the games of the future, why not play games from the past? Gothic and Gothic 2 Gold are 25% cheaper this weekend through digital distribution platform Good Old Games.

The single-player RPGs cost $7.49 apiece (instead of $9.99) from now until the end of Sunday. Note that the discount applies whether you buy both of the games or only one. The Gold edition of Gothic 2, by the way, comes with the expansion pack Night of the Raven.

Both games were developed by German studio Piranha Bytes. They also created Gothic 3, released in 2006 but had a falling out with publisher JoWood around the same time. JoWood apparently retained the rights to the Gothic franchise so Piranha's current project, an RPG called Risen, is based on a new IP.
